ALL COMMON AREA BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS ARE TO BE INCLUDED WITH SETTING SPECIFIC BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS

Cafeteria

J       Keep hands and feet to self in line

J       Keep all food and utensils to self

J       Sit with feet on floor, bottom on seat, and facing table

J       Raise hand for assistance

J       Use inside voices

J       Clean up after self

J       Use good manners

       J  Listen for instructions

J       Wash hands

J       Get all utensils, milk & condiments when first going through line

Playground/Recess

J       Walk to & from the playground

J       Stay within boundaries

J       Keep hands and feet to self

J       Run on grass, walk on concrete

J       Use equipment properly

J       Include everyone

J       Take turns

J       Be aware of others and their feelings

J       Use hall/bathroom pass when leaving the area

J       Line up quietly

J       Sit when the bell rings

Passing areas:  Halls, Breezeways, Sidewalks

J       Walk on the arrows facing forward

J       Keep hands, feet, and objects to self

J       Hold the door open for the person behind you

J       Use quiet voices

J       Admire artwork from a distance

J       Stay on sidewalks

J       Listen for teacher’s instructions

J       Look forward(be aware of the person in front of you)

Restrooms

J       Keep feet on the floor

J       Keep water in the sink

J       Use soap & water for washing hands

 

J       Use quiet voices

J       Knock on stall door before entering

J       One person in stall at a time

J       Use a bathroom pass

J       Return to classroom promptly

J       Flush toilet after use

Arrival & Dismissal Areas

J       Use sidewalks and crosswalks

J       Keep hands and feet for self

J       Bike riders- be aware of cars

J       Use quiet voices

J       Sit in designated area

J       Listen to duty teacher for instructions

J       Arrive on time & leave on time

J       Get teacher permission to go to office

J       Carpoolers: Sit quietly and watch for your car

Special Events & Assemblies

J       Wait for arrival and dismissal signals

J       Keep hands, feet, and objects to self

J       Use audience manners

J       Sit on your bottom with legs crossed

J       Enter quietly

J       Listen attentively

Bus

J       Remain seated while on the bus

J       Keep all of your body and any objects inside the bus at all times 

J       Use a quiet voice while on the bus

J       Keep your hands to yourself when exiting the bus 

J       Be friendly to other bus riders and bus driver

J       Be at the bus stop 10 minutes before your pick up time

J       Have all supplies ready to board the bus 

J       Be prepared to unload
